There’s something about ‘extra’ income. I mean, you may be drawing a good paycheck, but earning a little ‘by the side’ has its own charm. I’d guess that’s partly because whatever it is that you do, it is most likely something you really have fun doing (and getting paid for it, too!).
Now, when I say ‘extra’ income, by default, it’s something you do to earn extra income at home. It doesn’t involve commuting, regular hours, it doesn’t mean you have to wait by the phone, and, in most cases, you are your own boss! And thankfully, in the age of the Internet, there are a number of ways how it can be done.
In any case, a pre-requisite for a good stream extra income at home is doing what you have a passion for. It could be freelance writing, selling your secret recipes in an ebook, filling up surveys online, Web design consultancy, freelance graphics design, even trading in foreign exchange… the list can be endless, in fact.
Some folks find it convenient to buy some software that will help them do their home job better and some may sign up with agencies that give them assignments to do. In any case, that so-called ’side income’ could add up real fast… maybe fast enough to plan your next holiday in a five-star hotel and spa!
