Alright guys, I don’t wanna keep you in any suspense. The blog vanished because genius me deleted it!
Well, the story goes that I was playing super smart — I was trying to install the news-making Drupal CMS on a new website on the same server, and ran into a bunch a problems (imagine getting bombarded with 208 Fatal Error Messages!!!).
Then I figured some of the installed files had somehow become corrupt (perhaps I should have uploaded the driver in ASCII instead of Auto mode on my FTP client???) and decided to delete the entire set of files uploaded earlier to the new website. Since it was on the same server, at some point, I must have deleted the original blog for this blog. Smart huh.
Sometimes, it pays to “Just DON’T Do It”
I must confess - I don’t know how to manage my intellect. Sometimes it goes haywire, and at times, it don’t wanna work. I was trying too hard to install Drupal. When none worked, that was when I decided to act dumb and follow the instruction manual…. hehe.
I have heard it whispered, broadcast, written in poems, inscribed in scriptures and shouted at me: Keep It Simple. If I just didn’t complicate matters by doing things I think I know, at least my world would have been a better place.
I’m gonna experiment with this new school of thought: When in crisis, act dumb. Will surely keep posting the results here!
