mesothelioma is a type of cancer that is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. And asbestos, as we know it, is mined from rock and contains fibers as strong as steel, and when asbestos enters your lungs, they settle in the membranes, and with time the body starts losing its immunity to fighting disease.
Moreover, if asbestos goes into the stomach, since they’re indigestible, they cause inflammation. However, the symptoms may not be seen right away… in some cases, the seriousness of the disease could take up to 30 years to manifest.
However, research shows that mesothelioma is not necessarily limited to those who are exposed to asbestos. Doctors have linked mesothelioma to radiation exposure as well.
