Let’s face it — we live in a throw-away society. Though environmentalists might tend to question the idea of disposing, modern technology has provided us with disposable products that are bio-degradable and hence don’t pose a threat to the environment.

For instance, disposable diaper manufacturers claim that their products have been repeatedly tested and proved safe. Most even have quality-control experts on their staff to look for manufacturing defects, and maintain the highest degree of hygiene. Such pro measures taken by the companies are actually encouraging parents to switch to disposables from the older, outdated cloth diapers. Matter of fact, cloth diapers are no longer considered a viable option, so long as health is concerned.

More than the recycling factor, disposable diapers are extremely handy in very obvious ways parents can imagine. Plus, today we can choose from an array of training diapers as well. However, there are claims against potty training too early because it could be detrimental to the baby’s psychology. How much truth lies in such a claim is yet to be examined.
