You’ve probably heard of living rooms and kitchens, even basements with a ‘character’ — that tell people something about yourself — but what about your bathroom? Well, its a room, too, but does it say anything to people who step in?

Well, during the period I worked a course on interior design, I learned that indeed many take the bathroom to be a personal place, so invariably the design becomes ’shy’, or ‘extravagant’ or perhaps even ‘aggressive’. Now, my design sense tells me that it could be any of these, yet be stylish and bold.

Then again, not all designs stand out in style. Or those that do, may not go well with the rest of the decor. The above Kohler faucet is one that I found that is stylish, bold and contemporary. It’s also different than the conventional faucet, so that means, while standing quietly, it can still shout volumes about you.
