Lights, shades and colors have a way of talking. Come to think of it, sometimes they talk for you, but more often than not, what you say or do could very well be affected the colors or the lighting around you.

Lighting can make or break your mood, and in more ways than one. It can influence performance.

“Make sure that sensory input in your workplace is not driving productive mental activity out of your workers,” says Dr Pierce J. Howard, author of The Owner’s Manual for the Brain. He opines that all the sensory stimulation we take in vies for attention with our other mental vibes. And that could be just one reason why some–especially introverts–find it difficult to perform in concentrated lighting or loud areas.
