Perhaps it would have made better sense if I posted this yesterday — to mark the World Environment Day. As a matter of course, I did come across a number of propaganda about helping saving the planet. And, not surprisingly, a very many of them revolved (pun unintended) about saving water, or at least making the best use of it… while it lasts.
The first thing that occurred to me was of course the dripping kitchen faucet. I’m pretty sure nearly every one of us have had leaking faucets in our homes at one time or the other, or at least seen some somewhere. I read recently that you could renovate your kitchen for as little as $100, and that includes getting a brand new, shiny faucet.
Then again, not any faucet. They are hardware, and supposed to last (and not drip), so a good bet is to stay with established brands. Look for bargains, sure, such as the Delta faucet sale, but at least you’ll be better off knowing it’s a Delta. Plus, the range is fantastic, and versatile enough to suit any budget and taste.
