Why the granite tile for a countertop? Don’t we have a number of more ‘catchy’ alternatives? But then certain things stand the test of time — and style — well, and one of them is granite in indoor design. But not without good reason.
If your living style is anything like mine, you’re more or less likely to leave hot pots and pans on the countertop while picking up the kitchen phone. With granite, you can safely do that. A granite tile counterop also costs much less than a full granite slab as well as fancy glass or ceramic tiles.
And those with kids will appreciate this — granite is not easily scratched!
