“Look Ma, no hands!” We’ve all heard this famous phrase, but I’m not talking about cycling, it’s about communication. The concept of a hand clutching the phone piece to the ear is fast fading away with the introduction of the Bluetooth headset technology.
Thanks to the wireless technology of Bluetooth, we can finally do multi-tasking — for example, no more the need to clutch a pencil between the teeth while looking for paper while you’re also talking on your cell phone. Bluetooth headsets enable you talk hands-free, or listen to the music from Bluetooth enabled devices. Another highlight of this technology is the superb clarity of sound which even filters out unwanted noise like that coming from traffic or the wind.
Matter of fact, the technology is so advanced that you could keep your cell phone in your briefcase and call/activate it with a voice command from the Bluetooth headset. Now, does it sound like James Bond stuff? Well, now the technology is not exclusive to Mr. Bond any more!
