I agree and acknowledge that a body without any excess fat would be a great one, but that doesn’t mean that it should be undernourished. To get an idea if the body is indeed healthy, people often use the Body Mass Index (BMI) as a yardstick.
Simply put, BMI is the number you get when you divide your weight (in kg) by your height in meters squared. If that number is below 20, you’re underweight, and anything above 25 is considered overweight. How does one achieve the elusive, ‘perfect’, BMI?
The one and only answer that I can think of is finding a proven weight loss program and sticking to it. Ideally, such a program will include eating the right kind of foods, taking enough rest, workouts as well as some medication to keep that appetite in check.
